WHERE: The Bronx River Pathway in Westchester County

START: White Plains station (Metro North Railroad, Harlem Line), fully accessible

Having walked much of the Bronx River Greenway in the Bronx, it’s time for a stroll along the Greenway in Westchester County, closely paralleling the Bronx River. Future walks will include the sections from Bronxville to Scarsdale and White Plains to Kensico Dam.

Bring a hat and a water bottle and wear sunscreen. We’ll leave the White Plains station at 12 Noon. We’ll gather in the waiting room on the center platform (not the side platform). Take the train to Southeast leaving Grand Central Terminal at 11.14. One-way train fare from Grand Central and from Harlem - 125 Street is $9.75 ($6.50 senior/disabled). We’ll walk at least to Hartsdale and continue on to Scarsdale if we’re all feeling up to it.

All are welcome but using the form below let me know you’re coming and be on time.

Yes, I’ll join this walk!
